That bollywood movie is excellent! Rachael <3 bollywood dance scenes.

As for school, a high school diploma means more than “you made it,” it means that you can get a better job and make more money than others who haven’t graduated. You may be completely qualified for a job, but many places will just look to see if you have a diploma and degree, and if you don't, they just won’t hire you.

5th grade work sucks, and is a waste of time. Doing nothing is a waste of time, too. At least the shit work will earn you a good grade.

Annnd, how can you not like Chaucer and Shakespeare? They rock with words and innuendo.

The diploma doesn't garauntee anything. All it does is improve your chances of landing a job. The way society sees it, college is now a requirement, otherwise you don't know anything. So if you're not already going to college or are planning to go to one, most people will just consider you unqualified ( ... )

I am too on AIM :-P. I'm just usually away. That's cause I work in the mornings so I'm usually in bed by the time you get online. Sorry :-P. I miss our chats though, haha.

Sounds lame. Very, very lame. Do you have a job? I assume you do, but since I'm not positive, I ask. At least you get money for taking shit from The System, which will serve you better than Shakespeare's idea of Hamlet.
Another idea is travel. It sounds so very risky and dangerous, but I think you need a change of scenery pretty badly. Do some exploring.
I don't know if any of this helps you, but something may, somewhere down the line ....
Oh and, yes, you are smarter than all the teachers, we get it. Go you. But what does that prove exactly, when you're still in high school?

I don't have a job anymore. Among the many reasons, no real way to get to one, for starters. I'd love to travel. I don't think I could stand to stay in Houston all of my life. I need to get out for at least a couple of weeks some day.

As for being smarter than the teachers, all it proves is that I don't need to be there. I know people inside and out, and most of all, I know how to piss them off and get away with it. I'm a very frustrating person when I'm forced to do something I don't want to do. Don't mean to be, it's just instinctual. If I reach a certain point where I have a teacher pegged, the work is done correctly but lackadaisicaly, no one wins. Didn't mean to brag. I know there's an abundance of people who're smarter than most of the HISD administrative staff. I just want to know:

(Get ready for it!

Here it comes!

Horrible lyrical pun time!)

Where'd all the good people go?

If you don't have a plan on where you want to go, you might as well get a high-school diploma. Really, if I could go back to my first day of high-school I would of chosen one of two paths, and here are the reasons for them ( ... )
