Hm. Arcia was right, this event is a formal gala...which bothers me a little. I don't have a stitch of formal clothing, and I don't even know what's considered proper here. I've never even worn a dress before in my life.

Network? Help and suggestions?

I don't have anything either, nor have I ever worn formal attire, but I do believe there are stores in the mall area for that sort of thing. Or perhaps you can order something online. If I didn't hate public events so much, I'd consider going.

I'm being prompted by a...friend to go and do social things. He claims that it'd be good for me. I'm not overly enthusiastic, but there'll be alcohol and food so I suppose it can't be all bad. It's apparently one of those idiot things where you're supposed to take a date.

I was spared the whole high school dance mentality by being home-schooled, I don't need this.

...but I guess I'll go. Maybe something interesting will happen. Like explosions.

I'm not being prompted, but I'm sure eventually someone will request my presence. But I'll be hard pressed to find a date. Not that I'd want to take one anyway, mind you. I'd rather spare them the discomfort.

Explosions. I can arrange those.

I think I understand where you come from. If anybody dated me, it'd be like dating an automoton. Except a computer for a date would probably make for more fun.

If there's going to be explosions, I hope there's something to shoot at too. Just in case I get bored.
