Room 412

Apr 11, 2009 12:59

Marco had not noticed anything odd at prom, though he was curious as to where his date had disappeared to. But it was Saturday, so he had more pressing matters - like sleeping in till noon.

Of course, the silly boy had forgotten to lock the door.

Jadie had been a little lost at first but there were certain numbers she had to memorize (phone of the pizza place, phone of the minister of defense, Aunt Cassie's number, Uncle Jake's number, addresses, etc) and 412 happened to be one of them. Which is why she was no standing by her Daddy's bed, poking him.

Rachel was totally not lost, honest. But she knew this place. Even if it wasn't home. And she had found her mommy and daddy in the directory. Mommy wasn't there, so she went to Daddy's room.

Even though she didn't understand why they had different rooms.

She gave the other girl a curious look, but joined her in the poking of Daddy.

Marco groaned and made a vague batting motion at the poking. "Cutitoff." He muttered into his pillow.

"Daddy wake up!" Jadie commanded him, still poking.

Alice didn't even think of knocking or anything like that. She just strolled into the room and went straight for the video games.

"Hey, Dad."

"Oh good, the self sufficient one is back too." Marco said, having left the other two in the common room for a bit.

"I'm going to go bug Mom for Squishies later," Alice informed him, settling in with a controller, "but not until I beat all your high scores."

Marco snorted. "Right. What are you playing? And tell me you've had breakfast." He's gotten very good at toasting waffles.
