[He grabs the communicator with one claw, and flaps up to the top of the clock tower to get a better look around.]

[Peering around from the clock tower, Tobias spots a...clown. It isn't a very nice looking clown, either. He keeps an eye on it, but doesn't draw attention to himself. His voice is, nevertheless, somewhat amused.]

< I haven't told you to jump yet, or that your destiny is to, with five other buddies, touch this alien cube and save the goddamn world from brain-controlling slugs, I'm really your father, or that resistance is futile, do I get points for that?>

[The hawk is startled--even with the lack of facial expressions, his surprise is obvious. He crowhops back a little bit, before prowling back on screen to stare at the communicator with much more interest.]

[Great, more things. This was both good and bad. Good, because he possibly wasn't alone--and bad, because he had no idea who these people were. His avian face takes on a bewildered expression--at least, as bewildered as one could look with a beak and a permanent, piercing stare.]

[Tobias is...as close to he can imagine, thinking at the air. He has no idea where this other voice is coming from, though it sounds...different, from what he is used to. Less...alien, perhaps.]
