One week and two days, and this semester will be OVER. I cannot wait.

Anyway, English again *halo* I don't know why, but I get so frustrated when taking exams and having to write essay questions because I can never think of anything to say. Like today, there was sorta of a "practice" final, and I totally

I can totally sympathize. Though I have testing anxiety generally, essays are the worst! Thank God that didn't start until university.

Poems are also something I didn't enjoy in school. On my own time they're fine but on an exam? Blegh! Takes any fun out of them.

What do you need help with specifically? Metaphors are used a lot...that's a good one to know. :) Also, I found when analyzing poems, the teacher may give you credit if you back up your opinion well. I remember in grade 12 Lit I analyzed a poem -completely- wrong (it apparently was all about sex) but since I had my reasons he gave me the grade. Your teacher sounds quite nice. :)

I'm just the contrary, give me a poem and I'll be the happiest person in the world. Calculus, especially physics.

im still scared about the tornado

this was the same exact thing with me in year 12 lit, i was so over poems, i was like 'this is so dumb, just because she employed this technique i doubt it meant that she was so unhappy in her life or whatever, maybe she just wrote it like that cos she wanted to!'
but then i just regurgitated everything the teacher said and the internet said and i did good in the essays. but poems are really stupid though, i think they suck.
