I totally missed the fact there even was a challenge.

I probably would have done it (anything to avoid this last month of school was pretty damn welcome), but I guess I missed the entries!

Sorry, I was interested, but I've had exams, so I couldn't do it this go-round. (Also the crossover thing was a little intimidating, but sadly even if I'd been inspired I would've had to squash it.)

If I saw that there was a challenge, it completely slipped my mind in the hectic schedule of exams (like the other two posters said - I'm so unoriginal!) but I'm also not a fan of crossover fics.
