Well, my morning has started out with a twist. As I was getting up, my oldest was walking out the door to catch the bus. He comes back in and asks us to turn on the news because the neighbor informed him that there was no school today. Tell the boys that Conell cleaned his room, too. There's something like an 8"x7" area of cleared floor now. :) So he covered it with my zebra rug. :)

Since Houston got bypassed, everyone who thought they would have todayoff is yawning like mad. *chuckle* They gotta learn to listen to Dr. Neil, then go check weather underground and put the patterns together. :) I passed out figuring it was headed for Beaumont, and if it his us, the dogs would let me know fast enough. Sure enough, the dogs got a good night's sleep. :)

Hope ya'll don't catch too much of blow. Be careful, be safe, and touch base later today?

Good to hear that Conell was busy cleaning as well. Children learn early these "little" habits...so it's better if they learn them correctly. LOL

As for the storm, we mostly got rain and a little bit of wind to boot. We spent the the evening with adopted family, so the day wasn't a total loss. :-D

And consider this my touching base...didn't really check my internet really until this morning.
