I hate organized religion and (most) of the people that follow them. I'm not afraid to admit that. They want acceptance, but they're all backwards. It's totally hypocritical.

I used to go to 7th day adventist church for like a year or so with my lil brother's babysitter, when he was small. I just went 'cause it was somewhere to go. I liked the service, and not 'cause I believed in it, or that I was thinking I'm religious, or that I want to be - but 'cause it gave me a perspective on different views and a cultural experience, in a way. I'm an atheist, right now, but I grew up going to the orthodox church while I was little with my grandmother. That's the religion I was born in, and grew up with, but I realized it wasn't matching what my beliefs were - I knew religion is just something out there if you want something to believe in, and there is nothing wrong with that. And when people want to talk religion to me, I will, and I discuss it, and whatever, but they will never be successful in converting me 'cause my beliefs are just not any of theirs [to put it mildly]. I kinda like that freedom, like you put it - let me decide for myself what is good for me or not, sort of thing.
