Chanukkah is in two days. I hadn't planned on celebrating it after last year's fiasco of paying people to ruin my holiday. I had gone on Etsy and comissioned 8 artists to make me presents to open on those days. 6 of them failed to mail me anything and one of them refunded me so far after I paid that the exchange rate evened out and I ended up ( Read more... )

don't forget the songs!

anyway, glad it's looking to be a nifty chanukkah.

THanks for the warning about etsy as well, that's 4srs sketch.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the only thing Glynn's mum needs is for you to keep lovering her son so much that he stays mind bendingly happy.

yay for MIL's! Matt's mom is mad cool, too. She also knows I'm a stripper, and she loves helping me count my singles at the end of the night. It's too cute. She was impressed that I bought a christmas tree and is happy that I am able to make her son happy.

I think we both found our soulmates.....

also, pardon the shitty typing. i just got new tips put on my nails and I have to get used to typing with them...

She loves helping you count singles? That is SO cute!!! Glynn's mum isn't that good, but she also lives about three hours away, so it's understandable. I bet she would if she could - and if Australia HAD singles. Hahaha. :)

I think in the end these mums realize that, while we may have different means of making money, we love their sons very much and that is WAY more important that a chick's job. I mean, if I had a son, I wouldn't care what his missus did if she loved him and cared for him.

well, technically the Menorah was purchased according to tradition - not going to spoil the gift by going into details about price, but suffice it to say it was lucky indeed that the one you'd once told me you liked was pretty much the one just within my affordable price range ;)

Happy Hannukah, housemate.
