That makes me think of the the "Ernest" Halloween movie
with that monster that shrinks people into little wooden dolls or something.
And there's this scene where the little girl is in bed and is scared of the monster, so she slowly looks under her bed and sees nothing's there.
So she sighs relief and goes back in her bed, but then the monster's right next to her!

Doesn't sound like fun://

I've experienced sleep paralysis many times, but I've never seen anything weird whilst paralyzed. That's pretty scary.
