I'm here in NYC. Oh what an UNBELIEVEABLE, PLEASE GOD NEVER LET ME REPEAT THIS adventure it was today. At least it was a beautiful drive and I did make the plane by about ten minutes. It almost got into this weird camaraderie thing today, where so many people were having problems, and we were all just hanging together to get them all solved. ( Read more... )

It was a truly amazing experience -- I saw more of it today. Honestly, if we'd all just look out for each other, we'd have a much better world. Something for ME to think about!

I just enjoy the invigoration of it. The immensity of activity. There were about fifty concerts in one place I would have travelled to attend that I saw advertised! And I thought of you as I walked through an edge of the Theater district to get back to my hotel. Who knows if I'll ever have money again (groan!), but I can see why people enjoy those 3-4 day jaunts here. You don't even have to plan. You just show up and look around.
