Human:
Human Yuki is cheerful, bubbly, playful, and sweet. She is rarely shown sad and when something happens that causes her to become confused or anything that causes trouble to the happy world that was made for her thanks to her mother, she often solves the problem by smiling or by acting a bit playful. It doesn't always work because the world isn't always the best thing out there, but it helps her out at times.
However because Human Yuki is really cheerful and playful she tends to be a bit less classy and more slouchy; she is shown to do poorly in school. But even so because she was the school's guardian she does work hard whenever she can and tries her best to keep everyone safe, even if she doesn't always react on time. For example when a student was about to fall from the top of a wall, Yuki yelled out, closed her eyes and did nothing. The girl was saved thanks to Zero, another school guardian. It wasn't because she didn't care about the student but because her human world was one that was filled with innocence she didn't really expect anything bad to happen to the girl. Also because at the moment her state of mind fell into a lower unconsciousness and it returned her to the day her first memory was made as a human. Even so when it comes to things outside of saving people from danger occurring at the moment she does try to help when she can as shown with Zero, a Level E vampire. Once she found out he was a vampire she willingly allowed him to drink her blood so he could survive.
Sadly because Yuki in her human state is in a lower state of unconscious she rarely thought before she acted. She mostly followed her heart first before following her mind. Easily she would risk her life just to protect someone else without considering how others felt, including her beloved Kaname.
Due to Yuki's human life starting out rocky; a vampire was murdered in front of her eyes, she tends to be a bit too dependent and submissive on Kaname a Pureblood vampire who saved her from the vampire. He was secretly her brother then it turned out that he was actually her step-brother. Yuki, as a human, often credited him for being the first kind vampire in her life.
Vampire:As a vampire Yuki became less cheerful and more serious due to her position among the vampires. Yes she is still kind and caring, but expresses it less than before. And because she is the princess among the Purebloods and among the vampires she has become more elegant and more graceful. Some might say that returning to her true form served her good but the problem was that it shattered the fake world she was living in and caused her to awake, become more darker and to become practically a love slave to her beloved step-brother (at the time her brother).
Yuki thorough the series is shown to try hard to live with her 'new' self. However at times she can see her human self appear before her. It's been very hard for her to deal with the change and it's caused her to be cruel with anyone who knew her human side. As shown with Zero, she told him that she was no longer the Yuki he knew and that he should forget that Yuki, and if he hates the new Yuki then he is free to kill her. Even with Kaien who adopted her she has shown coldness to. The day her butterfly wings opened she spoke with him as if he were any regular old human and not the man who took her in and cared for her.
The only person whom Yuki has not shown a dark change with is her step-brother and fiancee Kaname. Since he was the one who saved her and awoke her from her fake world she is simply captivated by him. She adores him with all her heart and will do anything for him. And because he is so kind to her she feels at times that she doesn't deserve his love or to be with him. The reason behind that is that low self esteem she secretly gained after becoming a vampire. She is also very co-dependent of Kaname and looks at him for support and for company.
Since she became a vampire Yuki lost anything that made her innocent and anything that made her immature. She became more aware of what is going on and more mature. She began to follow her heart less and she became more distant with people who knew her human side. Yuki is even shown around chapter 63 to acknowledge the fact that she is a virgin and even called Kaname a pervert who changed her during her sleep.
At times the human side of being cheerful tends to show up as shown in chapter 60. When she greeted Zero she greeted him cheerfully however she quickly became serious with him. This is because she has learned to control the human side that tends to appear suddenly. Also because at some point during her human life she was in love with Zero and Kaname.
To add on more to the vampire changes, Yuki became more submissive to Kaname. She acts more lady like, dresses more lady like and is no longer the carefree Yuki she used to be. Yes this isn't very healthy but she does it to please Kaname, and even if he were to leave he she would follow him like a puppy. However if it made Kaname happy if she were to be with someone else then she would probably do that. Secretly in her heart however she fears even the idea of Kaname leaving her.
Returning back to the fact that Yuki is willing to do anything for Kaname, it has been shown that she has become more determined than ever to prove her loyalty and love to him. Personally she often finds the things she does such as walking with books on her head to straighten her balance, wearing high heels, etc, pretty darn tedious. But because she is determined to be the kind of lady Kaname would want to be with, she complies with her duties and often times does it with a smile.
Not only is Yuki determined with Kaname but also with the things she wants. Shown many times through out the series when she wanted to know something she would pester and bother until she found out. The same went with her goals. She was so determined with helping Zero and keeping him alive that whenever someone appeared before him wanting to murder him she would at often times stand in front of him to protect him. It is unknown if she truly wanted to let herself die to protect Zero or because she knew the person would stop what they were doing because she was in front of him. Yes it is easy to say that half of her heart longs for Zero but it is easily covered with the fact that he hates her kind and that she has Kaname.
Being the kind person that she is, the only person Yuki is truly able to show care openly and without hesitation or love is her fiancee Kaname. Even though it turned out that he wasn't her brother but her ancestor, Yuki did not care. Kaname was the man who saved her, who brought her back to life and that is all that matters. She has an immense love for him that she doesn't see his faults and supports him with everything he does because she knows that he is a good person, regardless of who he was and who he is now. Yes she does feel a bit of hate at the fact that her real brother was killed in order to bring Kaname to life, but the hate is not towards Kaname but towards her uncle. And because she cares so much for her beloved one, Yuki always tries to comfort him and be with him when she can. When Kaname allowed her to see his memories through the blood she was drinking, she saw what really happened and his past. After she saw everything, she comforted him with the fact that she would never leave him and she would stay with him. Also by telling him that she understood everything that she saw and told him it was alright.
Sadly this love she has for him is a bit of an obsession and Yuki realizes this at some point but she doesn't care. She is very happy in the current situation she is in.
Abilities, Weaknesses and Power Limitations:
As a Pureblood vampire, Yuki posses (like all other Purebloods) a great beauty that can make people only see that and not the evil monster that hides within. However that's the simplest trait that she posses.
Purebloods in Vampire Knight posses powers that other lower ranking vampires do not. To be exact yet simple here is the basic Pureblood powers:
-Ability to read other lower ranking vampires minds, and human minds.
-Ability to wipe out human's memories. (used when feeding from a human and the vampire wishes not to leave the memory.)
-Sensing blood from a distance. If an open wound has blood pouring from it, Purebloods are able to sense it.
-Fast healing and regeneration. Usually with any cut or wound except from anti-weapons. It takes long to heal from those. A Pureblood will not heal however if hit in the head or in the heart with those weapons.
-Creating creatures from their blood; bats, dogs, simple things. No humans or human like creatures.
-Being able to sense other Purebloods, Vampires and hunters.
-Mental powers¦telepathy; telekinesis; levitation; teleportation.
-Being able to transport their souls into other's bodies.
-Mind control of lower ranking vampires.
-Blocking lower ranking vampires attacks.
-Turning humans into level D-Vampires by biting them.
-Forcing lower ranking vampires to obey them.
All of these are the basic powers of a Pureblood. Even though Yuki knows how to fight and has fought before, since she became a vampire she no longer wants to or feels to need to fight. She lets other people protect her.
Yuki's major weakness and any other Pureblood's weakness would be being striked in the head or heart with a anti-vampire weapon and also the sun.

The smell of blood hit Yuki's nose as she arose from the coffin she laid on. Feeling a bit drowsy she didn't really pay attention to where it was coming from. Easily it could have been from the blood that remained from her closed wounds, or it could have been from the dried up blood that laid in the coffin. But no. Something seemed quite off about the blood that she was smelling. So Yuki stood up and walked out of the room she was in. Heading towards Kaname's room she knocked on the door and was greeted by a shirtless Kaname. Placing her hand towards his stomach she looked up at him with a loving smile.
"I smelled blood and I became worried." Quickly a hand was placed on her cheek as Kaname pulled her in to the room. "I pierced myself in case you wanted to drink more of my blood Yuki." Taking a step towards her fiancee's bed, Yuki turned around a bit and stared at him with an emotionless gaze. "You didn't have to, I'm not lusting or anything." Once she finished a smile danced on her lips and she fell on his bed, her long hair swaying in the air. There she lied watching him as he walked towards her. Sitting down next to her, Kaname grabbed a piece of hair and placed it towards his lips. Staring at him Yuki closed her eyes and fell into slumber once more. She simply adored Kaname and would do anything for him. He had always been there for her and it caused her great joy.Comms Sample:
