A summary of recent events:

Six weeks in Toronto and I haven't yet been moidered.

My dad, my sis, and my nephew, Morgan came for a (too short !) visit earlier this month, and Eric's work has him "on the road" far too much for my liking. I've taken a little while to settle in to my new surroundings and acquaint myself with the city, but this coming week I'll begin in earnest

I hate exercising too, but since we now have two dogs I find myself walking an awful lot. We've had Max less than two months an already I've lost weight without even realizing it.

I'm pee green with envy over your impending trip to NYC and Atlantic cruise.It sounds like its going to be just delightful. Will you be drinking tea at teatime with pinkies up?

I've always wanted to sail on the Queen Mary from NYC to the UK, but its just too pricey. Instead, I will live my life vicariously through you...I hope that's okay.

I really want a pup, too (I have my eye on an 8 week old mini poodle.) I adore my cats, bless their little hearts, but am kind of jealous when I see people walking about the neighbourhood with their doggies. There are SO many around here, of every shape and size ! And it's such good motivation for getting out and exercising, like you said.

Re: the cruise... expect to see many pictures ! It hasn't even sunk in yet; I've never done anything like this ! =D

I, too, was envious of all the people out walking their respective doggies around Seattle. I love our three kitties too, but I felt like somehow I was allowing my cats to keep a "no dog, no exercise" stranglehold on me, like I owe them something since they've done so much for me. Now, I feel like I'm a part of the real world again, even if Max pulls me all over the place with just about every walk. I guess that helps with my upper body strength, too.
