God, I fucking HATE people who have or will have children!

Yep, my kid is going to learn the value of "please" and "thank you" and, "For Christ's sake, will you let me have an uninterrupted adult conversation for a change?"

Actually, I'm sure our kid will be gracious enough not to interrupt. I want them to have a good sense self-esteem, but they're not going to be raised to think they're gods.

No juice boxes either.

I'm surprised Brits are having this problem. Their kids can't possibly be worse than they are here in America. Thanks for posting this article, it's helped me with a few of my own parenting fears.

Excellent article! Bratty children are the bane of my existence, and I find that Toronto has more than its fair share - especially of the teenage variety.
