The New 2009
I think it's hard going into a new year. There is always the old memories and ways left behind. Some we bring with us, but some turn into just that... memories. The 2008 year was great. I did well in school, and well in life. I still don't know in what direction I am going, but I know that God will guide me in the right path. I can't wait to be finished with school. Hopefully I need the rest of this year, and next year, and I'm done. They tell me no one ever finishes in 4 years, but I really hope I do!
Today is new years day. I didn't do anything special really, but I spent the day with Darryl watching the USC game, playing ping pong, and working out a bit. It was fun. USC is awesome. They were killing PSU. It was good that PSU came back a bit in the second half or the game would have meant nothing. I love Pete Carroll, he is a great coach and always know the right things to say. He has done sooo many great things for USC. His record is Amazing, and so is he.
I am a bit sad that I did not get to watch the Rose Parade. Initially, I wanted to go, but my mom said I probably shouldn't since I'm sick. Maybe next year
We ate Papa Johns today. Usually it's really good, but they have stupid people working there. We called at 1:06PM, and didn't get our pizza until around 2:40PM. First of all the guy on the phone said 30-40min, then when we called to ask where our pizza was, he said he told us 40min-1 hour, then he said that Darryl told him the address was 5723 instead of 5731, I was there, and he did not say that. That guy was so stupid. There is not even a 5723. By the time the pizza arrived it was old and not as good as it usually is. I was so mad, I only gave the guy $1 tip, I should have given him like 50 cents.
After the game we did a bit of leg workouts, and played ping pong. Now we are going to eat popcorn.
Last night was OK. Not fun, but not too bad. We went to Darryl's uncle's house. The only reason I like going there is because they always pass our money. LOL. we made $42!! $26 in coins that his uncle threw at us, and $16 in one dollar bills that his mom threw in the air. We watched Iron Man, for the first time. I know, I'm late, but whatever. It was not as great as everyone said. I don't know, maybe I was too distracted to really watch the movie, but it was just OK in my opinion. I also fell asleep right before new years. I am such a sleepy head. I woke up right before new years, just in time for all the money. LOL. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the good food. It was some good filipino food. Lumpia, and what not. It was good. Too bad I got full so fast. We ended up leaving around 1:30AM. I was so tired, and I had to drive. We made it, to Darryl's house and all was good
Darryl needs to speak to LLU so that he could take out a loan to pay for school. I also need to go see my father so that he could buy me a new phone. Mine is being stupid. so yeah, can't wait for that!!
This year was great, I hope the 2009 brings good, new and exciting things. As for right now, I want popcorn. So I think I'm going to go get some.
