Shinjiro tried to wiggle squirm move away, looking a little confused. He felt stupid in clothes much too big for him - the pants were almost falling off his hips, thank god for belts. He stuck his hands in his pockets, though, looking Aki over.
"You feelin' all right, Aki?"

"Yeah...I'm feeling good. I was just laying around in bed, snuggling in my covers and checking my phone when you posted," he said with a slightly sheepish smile. "Are you okay?"

Still, when he talked about just lying around in bed like that? It didn't sound like Aki, not at all. Shinjiro narrowed his eyes and walked forward. If he found out some strange creep slipped Aki something, he was going to break someone's face in, even if he was a girl. He didn't give a shit. Surely he couldn't be that much weaker.
Shinjiro reached forward to touch Aki's face, to take a look at his pupils. "Hold still. You act like you're tweakin out or some shit."

"I don't do drugs," he said, more than a little defensively. "I haven't taken anything. Why would you even think that?"
He reddened. "I do feel a little weird, though..."

"I know that," Shinjiro assured him, though his voice would have been gruff as a boy. As a girl? It just sounded, well, weird to him. "You're straighter than a board. But some fuckhead might have done somethin. I dunno. What else explains ..."
He saw how Aki hummed when he rubbed his face, that soft smile. It couldn't just be that it was Shinjiro doing this. But he didn't get it. Why was his friend reacting this way? For now, he ignored that it felt weird and nice at the same time to be held by someone larger than him. He ran his thumb over Aki's cheek again, trying to think.
