about my V-Day dilemma, I ended up doing two donations in J's name ("Feed a Baby Chimpanzee for a Week" and "Three Hide, Perch & Go Habitats for Shelter Cats") and wrapping the certificates around a Greatest Hits PS3 game.  I thought long and hard about which donations to do.

I just got M a bar of fancy chocolate (with chilis in it!). We figure we'll spend the cash on the fancy post-VD dinner. Cuz, fondue.

If it's the chocolate I think it is, it is awesome.

While the "VD is dumb, why would we give gifts?" deal has been broken time and again, the "why would we fight crowds to dine out?" rule hasn't, or I'd have had no dilemma!!

I am hoping Monday is less busy. That's one reason I decided to postpone until we return.
