Ok, I was exaggerating in my last post. I don't look like a man, and most people can't even see the thing I was talking about. However, I am now at 125 lbs. Yay! My boobs shrank though. The last time you saw me, my measurements were 39-27-40 and I weighed 143 (sorry to all who already read this in my last post). Now my measurements are 36.5 -

Speaking of your weight loss, I've been meaning to comment in your journal, about your surgury. I hope you are doing ok (despite the boredom) and will be back to normal as soon as possible! Try to eat as much as you can, even though it sucks. You might even want to try some of that Lard-Aid that bodybuilders drink, just so you don't wittle away!
Jeremy (my significant other) actually had a hiedle hernia (which is a tear in the esophagus due to heartburn), and had a really hard time eating because of the pain, and his throat wanted to just regurge everything back up. Yummy, I know. But the reason I mention this is because he has that humming bird metabolism like you do and has never been able to gain back the weight he lost. He's now 6'1" and 135 lbs. Ack! Before he was more like 150.
Anyway, I'm rambling but good luck with everything and take care of yourself!

So, just Pilates or a change in diet as well?

As for the pilates/diet thing, I didn't change my diet much. All I really did was start eating some more protein and a few less carbs. That's it! I've always sort of minded my caloric intake, but it wasn't doing anything. I still watch the calories now but my main concern is upping the protein.
I actually think pilates is almost fun -gasp-! And I hate exercising! But it's low impact and produces results quickly without getting drenched in sweat. Which scores pretty well in my book! Even after I reach my goal, I'm sure I'll still do it often because even a little bit is good for strength and flexibility. So, I think that just about anyone could put it to use!
Well, that's the end of my sales pitch! Gee, maybe I should try to get on the infomercial...
