I died in a very real, very heart broken way when that was read two years ago at commencement.

No. Someone read his letter to the graduating class of 2006 (which might be the same thing as his speech) because that was his entering class.

i ran into him today before i left & asked him about it. he said that it's not 'i love you' but 'you are a piece of my heart'. which is even better.

I had a dream with you in it last night.
all i remember is that we were in some big boat, and there was a circus going on, i think i was in it originally, but that you just happened to be on the boat. showtime came around, and the aerialists were gone. the ringmaster was freaking out, saying that we can't have the circus without trapeze, because thats what people expect from a circus, so i suggested you performed, and you hopped up and did a really sweet performance!!

mississippi river junk raft cirkus, baby...i wish i'd been on the miss rockaway armada. i was planning on taking trapze classes in brattleboro pre-leg. that's an awesome dream!
