Paris... almost...

I whine so much about language worried and anxieties and neuroses, it's easy to forget that getting ready to go to a new country is the most exciting part. Tonight I hop on a plane to Paris. Than I will be in Paris! It works out splendidly!

I have a place to sleep tonight. After that, I don't know? I'll catch a train to Berlin at some point, ( Read more... )

I cannot recommend it... Not highly enough.
Seriously. Sugarcubes. Absinthe. Joy.
(if you do the sugarcube thing, do it as SLOWLY as you can. Like water torture.)

I've been to Paris twice and never tried absinthe. Please let us know how that turns out.

The Musee de Cluny has some great stuff as well, lots of Van Goughs, if you are interested in him.

ah, so the european adventure has arrived! please keep me informed of your movements if you need somewhere to drink or sleep. i can't guarantee the latter but can guarantee the former. i am in CZ now, will be in poland, slovakia, and hungary in the next seven days, but then have time off if you fancy a cross over! woo! if you have the guts to use a telephone, my number is +420 607 267 805. let me know if you ever need anything-if i cant help directly, my co-workers are scattered about the place.

International calls are ridiculously expensive in Paris. If we haven't made contact via email by the time I hit Prague, I'll give you a call.
