Hi there. I am under the impression that when Australians meet other people they throw up in the other person's mouth. In America we just shake hands, barring that we shoot people, and when we don't have guns we shank people with french toast sticks.

Maybe it's just an Eastern Australian custom. Also most people don't go around shooting others, but we sure do like stabbing people with frozen bread.
