Frontman Danny Elfman has had a very successful film scoring career since, particularly in collaborations with the director Tim Burton, and frequently using Boingo guitarist and composer Steve Bartek as orchestrator. Their film scores have included Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Good Will Hunting, Proof of Life, Men in Black, and dozens more. Elfman also wrote the themes for more than a dozen TV series, including The Simpsons, Batman: The Animated Series, Desperate Housewives, and Tales from the Crypt ( ... )

Elfman and Elfman, that's cool. She didn't have to change her name.

Primus, they really don't get enough air time these days ... they rock so hard!

Now, the real trivia question: What was the one movie of Burton's that Elfman did NOT compose?

Ya think that maybe Jenna got her last name Elfman from marrying Bohdi? Maybe they were married before she got her career? :-P

This one I cheated on and looked it up, but I assumed he hadn't done Vincent or Frankenweenie because he hadn't met him yet:

Vincent (Original Music by Ken Hilton)
Frankenweenie (Original Music by Michael Convertino, David Newman)
Ed Wood (Original Music by Howard Shore)

Hmm, you're probably right. I was too into how cute it would be if two Elfman's met. Silly me.

And yeah, not meeting someone yet probably means he didn't do the scores ... And I think ANYONE would have had to look that one up, sweetie.
