They are about 20 feet high, in bloom all across the back of the house and by the gate and about 50 feet down the driveway and the air just REEKS of the sweet smell of lilac. It's almost overwhelming in the humid heat we are having. I spent a couple of hours yesterday, cutting back the ones around the gate and lining the driveway so that actual vehicles could use it.
Oh, you need help all right. AH-hahaha heh heh hmmm... I mean, I love you!
It was a learning curve for me. Luckily my beloved aunt is an amazing gardener and gives great advice. She also supplies me with lots of plantlets from her own yard. The hostas in the hosta bed are solely from 1/2 dozen little hostas she gave me years ago that I divided and now there has to be 50 of them in that bed.
I could put you up in the little white garden shed! Don't worry about the 2 massive trees looming over it, I am pretty sure that if they haven't fallen over in 150 years, they probably won't fall over at all.
Just take over a tree in a nearby park. Stand there in front of it and declare to anyone that walks by 'This is MY tree. MINE!' and hug and caress it lovingly.
