Oh I know how that is. People always seem to like the one you were iffy about. Its weird.

OMG! I laughed so hard at #5's text. Love the lighting, the blue tones, that little bullet (so clever!), and the text placement.

#1 is hypnotizing and so eerie. I think it's a really bold move to blend one of each man's eyes, and I always appreciate when makers take chances! :)

YES to the blue slicing through #8. That just sets off the whole icon cuz it contrasts so starkly against the darkness on both sides of the laser blue slice!

It's really cool how the last three Good Wife icons have this painted look to them.

Kudos on this whole batch, Harper!

This show needs to be iconed more! I barely do it and is wonderful finding more people that are into the show and making graphics of it.
I'd love to see some caps from the third season, specially 3.12 if you are planning to post more caps :)

I know, right?! The LJ fandom for that show is so small/arguably nonexistent. It breaks my heart (though not half as much as D'Angelo or Wallace). I did not realize that you'd iconned it too, and I'm so psyched that you do! I will go snag whichever icons you've made of it as soon as I'm done posting this, I think. And, oh man, 3.12. That is a very... interesting episode. I will happily get on that next. Any particular scenes and/or characters?

That's right, it's very difficult to find some The Wire icons over Livejournal. But hey, it's magical when you find some, so that is the special thing about it, I guess.
I just made these three Omar icons because my boyfriend sent me the picture to see if I could do some icons and that's it. I've tried to find some good screencaps without success and I gave up until I saw yours!
I was interested in making some String icons since I find Idris Elba to be a very difficult guy to icon, but anything would be nice. Thanks in advance!

Wow! I am so, so, so glad to find other people in the same situation with caps. For a while, I was kind of starting to think that the iconning interest in this show had pretty much died. And that is beyond awesome that your boyfriend sent you that photo! I think that's sign #1 that a guy's a keeper. Have you seen all 5 seasons?

Hey! Thanks so much for stopping by! Definitely no worries about waiting. I'm just super psyched to have found (or rather have been found) by another Wire fan. There are too few these day, it seems. Have you watched the whole season?

btw, to you question, happy-harper13 (with hyphen) and mosaically are both good, credit wise. Also on icons, where did you get your icon or related screencap from for your userpic here? I keep trying to push the Wire on fandom, but it makes me quite sad to see how little LJ fandom exists around it, you know?
