So yesterday was much fun. Got a decent night's sleep (yay!), then headed out to the boonies for fun and frolic with aryaluna and onomojaku. After WAY too much effort, we finally found me a new sewing machine, which they generously helped fund in return for making them cool clothes. I also rolled my eyes at the school delays. Come on, people, it's not even mildy icy. Wear a friggin' scarf and shut up! But it made my commute much better, so I can't much complain. My commute is always better when there are not school buses on the road.

First, WHY would someone still 3.6 million nickels?
Secondly, HOW? Did these nickels come complete with a truck or something? Because that's roughly 112 tons of nickels.

damnit, my math is wrong. Nickels are a lot lighter then I thought.

Still, that's a very good question. Apparently the truck originally carrying them from the mint was found, but the driver and nickels were not.
