Talked to the IRS lady. Apparently I'm screwed. What happened, I gather, is that the City of Dublin only took out the amount of tax that would have applied if that were the only income I earned that year. It wasn't, of course (since it was all of about $2,000), and when added to the rest of my income, the total tax I owed on it was much more ( Read more... )

Remember a few weeks ago when we were discussing the white death and I told you I would warn you when it was bad out here...well, I shoveled my driveway less than an hour ago and you can't tell & it's coming down harder.
The best part - the weather forecasters said it wasn't going to accumulate - stupid bunch of fuckers.

More on the subject - I didn't have the day off either.
