The train scene reminds me so much of Shadow Hearts..... ^^

There's something terribly amusing about Mr. prim and proper schoolkid (with tie!) and those two swords. I think unless you need specific weapons against specific enemies I'd probably play the whole game with swords. ^^

The battle system looks very Tales, but I can see what you mean. The rest looks like a good game, though hard to see the connection with the typical Tales stuff.

I agree, it doesn't seem very Tales-like. Feels like something is... off about it. And I really don't like the character designs so far! *judging early as well* xD

I agree about the character designs. They just don't seem very Tales-like. But I'll withhold any more judgment until I see more of the characters.
