CHARACTER RELATIONSHIPS
Fellow secret operative. He met him over the Halloween port, when he had to hide Data's android nature with a nueralyzer. Afterward friendship grew into partnership, and the stress of the ship shutting down drove it from partnership into something more. Narvin gives him both insights into the extraordinary parts of the universe, and gives him the chance to conduct a somewhat normal relationship in secret. But there's always that risk that comes with associating with a man that he knows is a dangerous and untrustworthy agent for another planet, especially one that's becoming more obviously unstable. However, now that he's dedicated, he'll do whatever he can to save him. It's better than facing another Alpha again.
NARVINEKTRALONUM | HIS WIFE
He adores this kid, not only because he reminds him a lot of himself but also of Jay. He's definite Men in Black material and likes working with him. But he knows he's hiding something dark. He doesn't mind the hiding, he just doesn't want to see him do something that might get himself in trouble because of it.
ARTHUR | MINI-ME
Abigail is the widow of his former inmate. She reminds him too much of Elizabeth. It breaks his heart to be around her and hear her disappointment in her son. But he's too emotionally stunted to know what to do to make it better.
ABIGAIL | A FINE WOMAN
Howie isn't Men in Black material, but he is competent and Kay enjoys working with him. He respects him a lot, and around him he feels the edge of interacting with civilians a little bit more. The relationship has grown to a point where he wants to be more protective of him.
HOWIE | A GOOD MAN
Damned pretty lady that acts kind of like a cat. Yeah, he knows about Star Trek, but as far as he's concerned it was like a biography featuring these people, because these guys are obviously not actors in suits and she's very much a real woman that deserves real respect, including acknowledging her customs. And he's glad she got a cat.
T'POL | STILL VERY MUCH A CAT
Kay is very used to using people for resources, but the problem with Snape is that he identifies with him somehow. It's another reminder that he isn't quite the figment of the imagination that he usually is in that he wants to spend free time with him and talk to him. He still doesn't know what to make of it.
SNAPE | STILL A POTENTIAL FRIEND
Dumbass Kid.
DUMBASS KID | DUMBASS KID
He thinks she's a touch defensive, but knows she's resourceful and can get the job done. She's extremely helpful so far in preparing for things, and hopes he can call on her in the future.
MS. PARKER | PRETTY AGENT IN HEELS
Rose is sweet and helpful. He finds himself worrying about her, but still feels the need to tease her over Randal's crush.
ROSE | DARLIN' MADE OF GOLD
Tyr is a competent fighter, but much like Narvin is untrustworthy to loyal those close to him. He's not sure of the stipulations that define his "loyalty". Tyr definitely draws his attention, though, and he's not hesitant to share a drink (or a sparring session) with him.
TYR ANASAZI | HAS ALIEN RIGHT IN THE NAME
Spike is a very reliable ally, and Kay does like reliable. He's amused by his smart-assery and defiance and largely approves of him, in his quiet, earnest expressioned sort of way. But he wonders if handling his own kind is ever difficult for him.
SPIKE | VAMPIRE WHO SLAYS VAMPIRES
Represents everything that he protects Earth from. He takes him seriously, but at the same time isn't willing to relent and be afraid.
ARTHAS | CAPTAIN OF THE BARGE DOUCHE CANOE
