It's probably during the day, and Anita might be looking for someone too - but not Curufin. In fact, she's outside, stalking the grounds, hoping to find Locke, Cal or Valen. She's missed her friends, and she feels the need to talk to people who don't, well --
You know.
But she'll be more pleased to see Curufin than he perhaps expects.
Curufin turns, halfway through one round of pacing, and spies Anita. His eyes narrow, but he doesn't move toward her, or give any indication that he's seen her.
"I wasn't sure how likely I would be to get a response," he says, a bit acidly. This is Curufin on miffed. "But since I have - good afternoon." He inclines his head, if barely.
His expression is definitely a little bit of 'I have been jilted and this is unacceptable.'

Well, other than the fact that he's staring.

She can feel his eyes on her, too - and it sends an unexpected thrill going up her spine.
And pauses, thus, and turns around.
"You know," she informs him blandly, "if you're going to stare, you might as well say hello."
