LOLZ! I've been very spotty about reading LJ since just before Dragon*Con, but Kim has been trying to get me to look at the Japanese raft puzzle ever since you first posted it. We were having dinner with my dad last night and she told us the setup and rules. It took most of dinner, but I got it! :-) I love puzzles like that.
