Perfume plot!
Questions and Things To Keep In Mind

First off, thanks to everyone who has decided to participate in my brainfart! For those who are interested, there is still room to participate! There are about 11 slots still open, and there's a least one open in each of them, except for the Romance perfume and the Disney perfume. You can still sign up over HERE! It's first come first serve, so if you see something you would want to snag, please, go for it!

Now, if you're participating in the plot, I request that you read this through. Don't worry, it's nothing complicated, but I just want to get the basic idea of how everything should work solidified. Basically, so everyone is on the same page as to how things should work!

• The perfume does not come into effect right away. That would be way obvious, and things would be going on right all at once! Rather, it takes at least an hour for the beginning effects to show. No, this doesn't mean you have to wait OOCly for an hour, but an hour should have passed for your character, at least! Sometimes it can take up to four hours to start working. Things have to settle in, you know! How much time, I leave up to you guys to decide. You can plan it so that they start taking effect while your character is working, on a date, sleeping, dancing, whatever! But it shouldn't be OVERLY obvious it was the perfume's doing, but characters are welcome to figure out that perfume may have something to do with it. ...Or they can be stupid and think they ate something weird, and obsess over trying to find out what's wrong. Really, possibilities!

• Like I described in the descriptions of the perfume, as long as your character is effected in a way that falls under the perfume they've found, basically anything is game. You don't even have to choose one of the things I suggested, though I would be most flattered if you did! Also, how strong the effect is totally up to you. For example, let's take the illusions perfume. You can either go elaborate or subtle with that. Character A could see demons everywhere all the time and flip out, or he could see the ghost of his dead mother out of the corner of his eye every so often. They're different levels of perfume intensity, but they both effect the character psychologically -- small doesn't mean bad! If you want only something little to happen to your character, feel free! And on the flip side, if you want to go wild? Then by all means, go wild!

• The general length of time the perfume should last for is three days, by the calculations of the scientists who created the perfumes. But! How long you guys want it to last is up to you. You can have it last a few hours, or a few days. The excuse for this is that body chemical balances and such vary person to person, so what you get varies. So if you only want to do it for a little while? Perfectly fine! Want it to last for days? Surely! In addition, if you want something to remain permanent, this is fine. It will be dubbed as a faulty perfume! And you can keep whatever changes you may want to.

• The perfumes are kept in a fancy expensive glass that is very breakable -- a way that a lot of characters will smell the perfume (by accidentally breaking the bottles when picking them up or something) -- but you also have another option! If your character picks up the bottle, and is gentle enough not to break the glass, and just smells it on their own, they're affected in the same way. But people who go this route have an added bonus! They can jack the perfumes. Yes, keep them for later days. To use for pranks, as jokes, just because they like the smell! Finders Keepers, right? In addition, this perfume will also be on sale in several perfume stores once the event is over, should your character ever want to buy one in the future! Or if your character happens to be in the Loki now and you want to use the perfume idea in the future.

• All the perfumes have their own assigned color and smell! Feel free to have your characters react accordingly to how they're described as smelling -- really pungent, sweet, weak, etc.

That's about it! All I have to add otherwise is that Ritsuka's post will be going up tonight, and that's the go ahead for your characters to start finding the perfumes! And I'll post the official end to the plot on Monday.

Thanks for reading, everyone! And if you have any questions, feel free to ask them here!
