But if they keep her the Sneakies won't help us anymore...!

If we show them we can be trusted, they will trust us more.

If we keep her, the scientists might help us more. And do things they weren't willing to do before.

...How old are you?

That's not helping, that's...being forced to do stuff. And then they'll just be more upset, and they'll hurt us. Then we'll hurt them, because the cycle just keeps going and going because no one knows any better.

...I don't know.

It is quite frustrating.

Still, this may answer a few questions concerning those keeping us here. They have already revealed more of their metaphorical hand than I am certain they wished to, both in regards to suppression of certain abilities and the fact that they seem unwilling to simply dispose of us. Perhaps with some subtlety, they will reveal more.

I do not wish to reveal too much through this form of communication, however, I intend to be present when their friend is returned. Someone must leave their hiding place to claim her, and there are opportunities in that.

It would be wrong to hold a young woman like that as hostage, especially concerning what she may have gone though in such a situation. Even if she would have been a good bargaining chip it would have been dishonorable.

Would have been? Has she been given back?

I say it as that based on you're statement arguing the fact of giving her. I assume those who have her plan on giving her back, even if it's just in exchange for their abilities. Forgive me for not being reasonably clear.

Yeah. I'm pissed, too.

This whole place pisses me off.

...I can't stay in the office any more.

Tell me about it. Everyone preaches or whines over this stupid network, and when someone suggests something contructive it's shot down before the boat even leaves the harbor because someone doesn't agree.

Then don't.

Too many of them come from soft worlds.

Maybe I'll get an apartment.

Knowing this city, is the answer not obvious?
