RIP E. Gary Gygax

I don't know what to say, but Gary Gygax has passed on. I've kinda been quiet on LJ for a while but this is important to me. He is the luminary of the modern roleplaying world. Kids might have been cops and robbers since forever, but back in 1974 when he and Dave Arneson published Dungeons & Dragons for the first time they set my future. I love ( Read more... )

He was important to table-top RPGs, but I think I owe my gaming career more to Steve Jackson. ^^;

I went and posted a bulletin about this on my MySpace.

Oh, BTW, It looks like we are going to be moving into Carrington Park, formerly known as Howell Branch Station. We got a 3 bedroom there for $900. We even got to see the ACTUAL apartment we are going to be moving into. Found some things we are going to need to mark on our walkthru, but nothing really bad with the apartment at all.
