USAA sent out ServPro. They were amazing. They showed up at 11:30pm. One guy explained exactly what they were going to do and walked us through the paperwork while the other guy took photos, measured the rooms, and took moisture readings in all of the drywall and hardwood floors. By 2:30am they had stripped all of the carpet and padding and the affected drywall from the ceiling and had removed the debris from the property, had treated everything with an anti-microbial solution, and had set up 7 air blowers and dehumidifiers. This morning their service rep called us to set up the follow up appt. on Wednesday morning for them to take more moisture readings. So far, I'm very impressed. Exhausted, but impressed. LOL.

I used to work for USAA (for 7 1/2 yrs) and still have them on my house. Great company. You're in good hands with them.

(and they won't cancel you for having a claim, unlike most of the other Florida carriers out there now)
