How do you know when a story is over?
I don’t know, how do you know when a drawing is finished?
It’s whenever you’re sick of working on it, or afraid that changing it any more will make it worse instead of better.

<3 I always ask myself the same question. And I'm pretty horrible answering it.
It's kind of a problem with my writing... the lack of finality. There's always this kind of nagging feeling that there is something more to be said.
But I kind of think it leaves it feeling a bit more realistic when there's not one great big resolution. I mean, in life... how often to we really get a true and complete ending? So it's always more of a problem for the readers than myself perhaps. I enjoy the openness that comes with writing intentionally incomplete fics... and endings, happy, sad, whatever, almost always seem forced when I write them.
I think an author sort of knows when the time comes... and it's different for everyone. Don't push yourself. Sometimes we just need to take a step back and let ourselves breathe.

This was a completely pointless response. But I really wanted to say "I know where you're coming from~"
Also.. I miss you girl, be on skype more often! *pout*
xoxo
