My cousin Some horrible person composed a terrible, terrible poem in my honor. I need new - better - poetry that can erase it from my head. But alas, I don't have any books with me (and I doubt anyone else does).

Someone share something with me. Even children's rhymes are better than those four lines, I'm sure.

trying to forget, kenya fails at life, my mind

The only one I literally can think from the top of my head is:

Rose are red
Violets are blue?

The only one I literally can think from the top of my head is:

Rose are red
Violets are blue? (violets should be violet shouldn't they?)
Sugar is sweet
and so are you~

Im only good at remembering the cheesy ones because I laugh at them.

I almost cried watching the notebook if that counts for anything. And don't listen to your cousin. ^^

Only almost cried at it? I sobbed. The Notebook is a very touching movie, so I can understand.

And I learned long ago to ignore Kenya. Unless I'm teasing him.

Yes I almost did 0.o.

Wow Yuushi-san you really are sensitive. ^^

At least your arguments are entertaining, because I'm pretty bored :/

I do not love you except because I love you;
I go from loving to not loving you,
From waiting to not waiting for you
My heart moves from cold to fire.

I love you only because it's you the one I love;
I hate you deeply, and hating you
Bend to you, and the measure of my changing love for you
Is that I do not see you but love you blindly.

Maybe January light will consume
My heart with its cruel
Ray, stealing my key to true calm.

In this part of the story I am the one who
Dies, the only one, and I will die of love because I love you,
Because I love you, Love, in fire and blood.

-Pablo Neruda

It's one of my favorites actually, and I figured you actually needed something worthwhile on here.

Oh Neruda. You are a man after my own heart, Keigo.

That poem is most worthwhile. And somehow I'm not surprised that you are familiar with Neruda.

What else could you possibly expect?

I was educated with texts from all over the world, and Chilean poets just happened to one of the subjects. I have a book if you want to borrow it.

I shall never doubt you again.

You actually have the book? All of mine are at home. I'll be by in a moment. Once I walk up all those stairs. Why did you have to get the fifth floor?
