My lovebirds are lesbians. Or they are simply enjoying each other's company more than mine, and have taken to snuggling with each other to keep warm. Not that I mind, they are quite adorable together, and Ai has stopped scolding me as much as she used to when I'd come home after being out for a long period of time

Forgive me for asking the obvious but... why do you have two female lovebirds?

They were a gift from a friend, who didn't realize they were both females. Once I realized it, the birds were attached to each other, and me, and I was moving so getting more birds wouldn't have been good.

I'm glad Sachiko isn't interested in these entries, or she'd be pulling an "Everyone else has one" on me in the kitten issue.

That said, it's nice to see you again. I never expected to see this many familiar people around here.

I've been reasonably well. What about yourself?

Sachiko is technically my niece, though I think of her more as my daughter. I've been taking care of her for the last three years.

She must be lucky, having an uncle like you. I'd like to meet her some time.
