I'll be thinking about all of you Scrippies.. If its any consolation (which i'm sure its not considering how erratic these fires seem to be) I haven't heard the area mentioned at all on TV/emergency radio.

Yeah, I called my mom right when I got off work and jokingly said "I'm just calling again to make sure the house hasn't burned down yet or anything" and she said "we're actually preparing to evacuate right now." So needless to say I'm a little concerned. We didn't even have to evacuate during the Cedar fire, but now everything between Scripps Poway Parkway & MCAS Miramar is a mandatory evacuation.
