So I got up this morning around 7 and stepped on the floor and my foot was instantly in pain. Turns out there's a small cut on the bottom of my foot but the pain is so violently sharp I can't pick around to see if there's something in it. Scary what happened at Virginia Tech. Hard to think crazy gunmen still run around schools. You'd think campuses could better respond to such a hostile and violent situation. They didn't close down campus after the first round of shootings and it's so ridiculous. The lives that could have been saved just by taking that extra precaution. Seriously, ( Read more... )

So they're doing MORE construction above my apartment and have recreated the hole they made last time they did construction about three weeks ago. Also, they have managed to make several cracks in the ceiling. What else? I can hear their Spanish folk songs through the ceiling as well. I just realized that I'm probably never going to sleep in again except on Sundays. Because that's what real life is about.

Goal: get so rich I can sleep in. Sleeping in might be the only thing I live for now.
