That girl on tv's mom was right. If she wanted to find you, she would. She's your mother. A mother always knows. It seems like she's opted out of being a responsible adult. Kudos to you for not following in her footsteps. You have to ask yourself if that's the kind of "friend" you want in life, though. The one who will abandon you when you really need them the most...
