I find $5 jeans that fit (if you're willing to hunt; it helps to have a shopping partner-- hint hint) at Everyday People in Dinkytown. Not that the Uptown store is bad, it's just that there's more hipster chic in Uptown than functional, "I can get this dirty and wash it" attire.
The Ragstock in the Rosedale mall has pretty useful amounts of shirts and hoodies, sometimes I find interesting belts and socks there. I don't work Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Call me so's I can see you and take you places. (if all else fails, we can hit the Goodwills in all the suburbs after dark)

I'm a huge fan of Savers, my own self. I truly think 80% of the clothes I own came from there. And no hipsters; it's a *real* thrift store.

I'm on board with the Savers idea. Especially the one by the light rail.

I haven't seen much of the Unique in St. Paul, although the one in Burnsville rocks my socks.

Of course, there's Goodwill and Salvation Army (I like the one in South Minneapolis, myself, when I can't get to the suburbs).

Maybe we can get the girls together and go thrifting sometime?
