Yes, I am very sure. This is a Hong Kong film in which the actors speak Cantonese(Chinese). It was filmed in Hong Kong, Singapore and the UK. The Pang brothers who produced are from Thailand, possibly why in the story they eventually ventured to Thailand?

If you want Korean go Whispering Corridors or Momento Mouri, they arent as good though.

I'm going to watch one called Premonition soon. Also Yakuza Demon by Takashi Miike, who made Ichi the Killer, the best movie ever to me.

I saw the chinese lady from the Eye 2 on the cover of some other film in our older section... I should watch that sometime too.
