Oh my god, I've obviously heard it all in segments, but seeing it explained in one long story makes the farce all the more, well, farcical. Clearly PT could give Manchester City Council a run for their money for inefficiency.... you should unlock this post, I kind of want to link to it so other people can read it :D

Unlocked! (Thanks to your advice - why did I never think of that??) I also unlocked the YouTube saga in the vague hope that somebody might see it and know somebody who knows something - though as a lot of my f'list are at one kind of con or another this w/e that's unlikely.

It is different seeing the whole sorry mess laid out so succinctly after having it in segments for so long! Obviously the only reason PT are still in business is because they have a monopoly.

At least now it's resolved and you have Internet:D

Yes, monopolies are the pits! Their staffing structure/ information policies/record keeping/etc. are just so-o-o bad. And they are so smug about it. *g*. I think a Portuguese settler here would have had similar problems with BT. And of course my previous post about YouTube has quite a bit in common with this!

There's no reason why it shouldn't.
