Good to hear! If you love where it's at, leave it for now and see where it goes! If you like the uncertainty, there's no need to force things to change yet. Meeting an online-friend off the Internet can certainly work, but it necessarily requires some caution. I'd say you'd be fine if you were to establish a public place in which to meet up - a café, for instance. Only once you felt as if you could trust him in person would that change. I've been in that sort of situation; it's thrilling overall, but also terrifying to wonder at the last minute whether you're going to be safe around the person in question. So it's good to be guarded.

as for the wow stuff, nat generally had good advice. :) I've met a lot of online people in person over the years and it's been fine, but I always try to be cautious/careful. I think that's reasonable.
[also, two of my good friends ended up marrying guys they met online.]
and Dad was always proud of you. He still would be.
Where does this wow guy live that he's an hour ahead? I think the advice to bring someone if you meet is good. I've met waaayyy too many people online, all of whom have been awesome, but always in the presence of many other people first. And I think it's awesome that you can do well in school and not even try. Gives you more time to do other things that make you happy :).
Sorry. Two of my romantic adventures have involved New Brunswickers. Apparently I have a thing for them. So that I can understand! (Heck, I was just there a month ago, so if you need travel-tips... * grins *)
Good lord, those grades are awesome, especially for not trying that hard! I think those guidelines you set would be good, just remember to follow them :P
