Ok..I'm not a total dork. The plug is *not* directional. It's just that it only works if you tug the cord where it joins the wall-plug end in a counter-clockwise direction

That was somewhat tongue in cheek. I have had good luck with my T-Mobile products, yet not so much as an employer.
