This is a continuation of the original livejournal petition, seen. If you have been directed here, it means it has surpassed the 5000 comment mark.
News: Worker for Six Apart speaks out. It's their own opinion, and, unfortunately, does not represent what 6A feels.
An e-mail I received, after sending this in to the Support Team:
Dear Aly,
Thank you for letting us know.
Please know that the design you saw posted in lj_design was not the final product, and many changes are going to be made before it is pushed live to the site. Please keep watching lj_design for further updates to this situation.

Knowing how the ST is, I'm not sure how valid their claim is. But, I have an odd feeling this will be addressed accordingly, and hopefully in a professional manner.
News 2: I've just spoken to a Vice President of Six Apart, Anil Dash.
He's very understanding about the petition, an overall nice guy and great character. From what I gather, he completely accepts why the petition exists and looks to find a compromise between us and the companies.
