Have you ever tried the sugar free chocolate? Or any sugar free candy? They're quite tasty.
I have sciatica and it was so bad in 2012 that the doc put me on oxy something, but it made me too dopey so I stopped taking it. Physical therapy helped a lot. I'm having attacks again but it's mostly when I get out of bed in the morning. I can't move around much when I sleep because I use a CPAP machine for sleep apnea.
I have chronic kidney disease, emphysema, degenerative disc disease, arthritis in my knees and atrial fibrillation so I sympathize with all your ailments. Last fall I had cataract surgery and hubby had three heart operations. It was NOT a fun autumn.
Whoever declared old age the golden years is nuts.
I remember thinking what a wonderful thing sugar-free was. However, it attacks the joints just as badly as sugar, and much of it is actually worse for you than sugar

I can't recall right now what the ingredient is that substitutes for sugar in sugar-free candy, but it plays havoc with your bowels if you eat too much of it
