[[Action Post]]

Amaterasu is wandering around the castle now, sniffing around and exploring curiously.  To the average person, she looks like a simple white wolf, but to those with true faith, her power is visible...

Her tail's wagging contently, and she's enjoying exploring the castle... care to approach?

Well, that's something you don't see every day. A white dog in the middle of the school. It's probably not a stray, considering the castle's floating up in the middle of who-knows-where, but it doesn't have a collar. Nobody's said anything about getting a dog, either.

X doesn't get to spend much time around non-mechanical animals, though, so he's not complaining. He kneels down about an arm's length away and holds out his hand -- he doubts he really has a scent, but you're supposed to let them sniff before you start petting, right? Or is that rabbits? "Hey, boy. What are you doing all the way out here?"

Ammy sniffed at his hand. Oh, there were scents alright. Metal, gears, oil... he smelled sterile, too. Kinda like the rest of the environment. Still, she didn't feel uncomfortable in his presense. She could typically sense the worst. "Ruff."

X's translator program, unfortunately, didn't cover dog-speak, so he didn't gain much from that. At the very leasy, the dog wasn't biting or launching flames at him, so he took that as a good sign. He moved his hand and gave her a tenative pat on the head -- gently, living things were delicate. "I guess you can't talk, huh? You can never be too sure around here. It wouldn't have surprised me if you were a student. I hope you're not lost. This isn't the sort of place you'd expect to run into a dog."

"Hnnnnnn~~" she whined happily, leaning into the attention, sitting on her haunches and letting her tail thump against the marble floor.

Oh hey a dog! It was Axl's very first time seeing an actual, alive one. How did humans go about interacting with them? Something about throwing a stick so they can go catch it?

Conveniently, he found a very nice stick nearby.

"Here boy!" Axl called out, waving a stick. "Let's play catch!!"

Catch? Ammy had never heard of this game. She looked at him curiously, but his enthusiasm was contagious, and she started to wag her tail at him, and barked.

Okay! He got the dog's attention! He threw the stick into the air and the pointed at it as it flew across.

"Catch!!"

Her predatory instincts kicked in, and with a snarl, she leaped, catching the stick in her jaws and landing gracefully, her muscles rippling under her fur. She was, after all, a predator, and a warrior.

OMG A PUPPY.

The white fur threw Kevin off at first (he was much more used to the brown variety), but he knew a wolf when he saw one. PUPPY.

Despite his first instinct, which was to run up and give it a huge hug, Kevin hung back and watched it for a minute to see if it was safe to approach.

Catching his scent, Ammy looked at the source, and noticed Kevin. She didn't move, but she wagged her tail a little faster in greeting.

And that was exactly the signal Kevin was looking for! He rushed over to the white wolf and plopped down in front of it.

"Hi." He said, grinning.

"Arf!" Ammy barked in greeting, wagging her tail at the stranger, panting contently.

Jon could smell it. There was a wolf wandering the halls... not Kevin, and it wasn't his own scent.. and it wasn't quite like any wolf he had scented before now... but wolf it was.

He loped down the corridor on all fours, nose twitching until he saw her interestingly white coat.

So. You're new. he said in a language for canines only.

Ammy wagged her tail excitedly. Someone who can understand me...

Yes, a strange-looking little human-like creature summoned me here.

Interesting.... sounds more like the Mouse than the Clown. Jon replied, giving her a cursory sniff and then sitting back on his haunches. He hadn't realised that even animals without human speech and mannerism could be called here.

Name's Jon Talbain. Yours?

Omikami Amaterasu. Though I expect that I won't be known by that, since I can't communicate with most others, she sat down as well, her tail thumping against the floor.

He requested that I come here, as a fighter for good. And I suppose I have no problem with it - that's what I did before coming here, anyway. It's my job to restore nature and tend to my children.

Ooh! A dog! Dogs were about as manly as pets got. Of course, there was the childish aspect of Roger that was immediately drawn to dogs too. "Hey there, doggy!" he called, bounding over to the dog. That fur was really cool-looking.

"Arru," Ammy greeted happily, wagging her tail at the boy. She loved kids especially - they usually fed her more.

Roger didn't so much as ask the dog if he could pet her. Everyone knows Surferians have good instincts about animals, and he could tell that this one wasn't unfriendly. "How'd you get here, girl?"

She didn't bother answering, she simply leaned into her petting and licked at Roger's face.
