I don't know if you've noticed, but I haven't been around much lately. Perfectly logical explanation, though: I'm in the hospital wing with a malfunctioning hand. It's sort of strange, I can't really move it or do anything with it - but at least it doesn't hurt, I guess! Well fancy that! I broke my arm, so I'll soon be joining you in the hospital wing. Haven't been there in a while. Maybe we can drive Pompfrey loony together.

I'm...in there. At least, my right hand can write now. I was writing all night to Alice with my quill in my mouth. I think you peeked at me, at night.

I was in there while you both were sleeping. I sat by your beds and smoking. I think Dee smelled it cause she coughed and Frank was just yelping in his sleep.

If your arms hurts a bit more today, it's cause I poked it. I was bored.

Remus, I'd love for you to come, I always like to see you! Of course you're not an idiot - why should you have found out earlier? I wasn't there to tell you, was I, and no one else knew anything until Pomfrey allowed me to write this post, because they didn't want it to cause a stir or anything, I s'pose. Anyway, yeah, please please please come as soon as you find the time, it'd be brilliant to meet you, it's been so long. Pomfrey says I should be getting out soon, but she's been saying that for three days now, so I guess we'll just have to see about that, right?

And yeah, I'm not bad. My hand's looking a little icky and of course it's disconcerting, but I'm alive and well, yeah? Everything could have been a lot worse.
