David sat on the roof of the Pasadena hotel that all of the Idol hopefuls were staying at. He was tucked away out of view of the doorway, doubled up, with his arms wrapped around his knees. He hoped that the solitude and night sky would calm the unfocused nagging urge for… something… but what that something was, he just didn’t know.

I am not too tired to post on cookleta, so this puppy is going to wait for a while.

Hope the oddness in the format of the song lyrics doesn't interfere to much with the reading.

My dear, thank you for this intensely romantic balcony scene, which was much needed today.

And that was some duet, too - my heart puffed up like a ridiculous inflatable thing when Cook took Archie's hands and leaped into the melody (!), and broke into little pieces when Archie pulled away. Also, looks like the boys have some mind-melding bond starting...

Lucid dreaming, hah! Of course the boys are doing their own thing, and you're just being swept along. Also, GIVE IN to falling in love with Cook - you know these things are inevitable ;D

Cook thought of his surprisingly *beautiful* face and how he had no business noticing anything at all about a seventeen-year-old boy’s face… or his gorgeous expressive eyes, or his perfect olive skin, or his soft-looking full lips or… Cook frowned at that train of thought.

Me thinks Cook is in for it! XD

I love how precious your Archie is. I just want to squeeze him! And I can sense that kind of feeling from Cook here, too.

Oh, Clio,

I'm so glad you are back with us (even if it's intermittent for now!) Is it bad manners to agree with you that these guys are so so lovable? I mean they are in RL, but these two inside my heart, I just love them to bits.

I can feel chapter Ten brewing in my head right now!
